Consuming the Placenta- Encapsulated

Encapsulating placentas is one of the most common ways to consume it. Once it is ground up into a powder, it is encapsulated making it easy to take as a supplement.


Here are 3 ways it can be encapsulated:


1️⃣ TCM- Traditional Chinese Medicine Theory requires an Acupuncturist or Doctor of Chinese Medicine consultation for the proper herbs and process based in concepts of Chinese medicine.


2️⃣ The Raw Method- Raw placenta is cut up, dehydrated, blended into powder and put into capsules.


3️⃣ Steamed- The placenta can be steamed alone or mixed with herbs inspired by TCM or herbs based on mom’s choice due to taste or healing effects. After being steamed, the placenta is dehydrated, blended into powder and put into capsules.


*️⃣ Important: There are factors including genetic disorders, certain pregnancy ailments, bacterial or viral infections that would limit the ability for mom’s placenta to be consumed. The methods listed are in regards to a healthy placenta.
