Book + Podcast
I came across a podcast this morning and it sparked my need to share such good information with all of you! Two great powerhouses (Mel Robbins and Patrick McKeown) on one podcast show!! Mel Robbins was introduced to me at an amazing retreat (Power of Your Journey, highly recommend) back in 2021. I finally listened to my first Mel Robbins book Stop Saying You're Fine and it immediately resinated with me. That book chose me because it was the first Mel Robbins audiobook the library had available to me. And you know what? I was fine, until I listened to the book and decided fine is not good enough!! I can be much BETTER and so thanks to that book, I have kickstarted up this blog again after being distracted for a few months.
I never posted a blog review on "Book Series" for Breath, by James Nestor which I read probably two years ago. If you've known me for a while I'm sure you've heard me talk all about this book. I LOVED it. Easy to read, easy to comprehend and SO MUCH good information at your fingertips. Literally. Add it to your list. I don't even need to say more other than read it.
The Oxygen Advantage, by Patrick McKeown has been on my list for quite some time, and I'm seeking some motivation. If anyone is interested in a book club for reading this book please reach out to me! It's a big one, but boy oh boy I'm sure it's a good one. Plus, we could all use some insight on such a simple task like breathing... am I right?
